Welcome to Landriault Outfitters

We are located in a splendid remote wilderness location on the majestic Kipawa Lake in the Temiscamingue Region of Quebec. Access is by water only – there are no roads at all in the area. The launch point is in Kipawa Outpost, QC which is about 90 km NE of North Bay, ON, and 30 minutes from the Ontario/Quebec border.

Kipawa Lake boasts very deep and clear waters, spans close to 80 kilometres and has over 1600 kilometres of shoreline. Further, it is a very safe lake to fish since you are protected by hundreds of islands and bays and you are always near the shoreline and the lake is well marked.

Your fishing/hunting adventure with us always begins with a scenic 30-minute, 20-kilometre boat trip (on one of our 3 transport boats) through the rugged beauty of the rocky granite shoreline and towering pines. Our main camp is situated on a quiet bay in the northeast part of the lake which happens to be the most remote and tranquil part of the lake – there are no other camps for several kilometres in any direction. The main camp features 6 waterfront guest cabins which provide good, comfortable and very clean accommodations. We also have a remote camp located on McKenzie Island (about 12 km away). At our new launch point in Kipawa Outpost, we have a private dock and plenty of free private parking.

Current Fishing & Hunting Activities for 2010

Fishing:

We have walleye (blue and yellow), lake trout, & northern pike all in the same lake.

Black Bear Hunting:

We will offer black bear hunting from May 16 to 30 only for 2009.

Moose Hunting:

Take note... in 2010, the bull, calf are open ..
Bow hunting is open from September 12th to 27th.
Crossbow, bow, & rifle hunting is from October 3rd to 18th.

This is your assurance of objective evaluations & assessment of the cabins and services we provide, as well our adherence to high standards of service and equipment. We have been members in good standing for 14 years now.
